Privacy Policy — Menimap

This Privacy Policy explains how Harbegold LLC (“Menimap,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you visit Menimap and place an order for a custom, made-to-order 3D-printed model of your neighborhood. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Information you provide. Your name, email address, shipping address, the subject address or location you ask us to model, your radius, size, base, and color selections, any personalization text, and (optionally) photos or a logo you upload for use on your piece.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card and billing details are entered on Stripe’s secure, hosted checkout and never pass through or get stored on our servers. We receive only a confirmation that payment succeeded and limited, non-sensitive details (such as the order amount and a transaction reference).
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site we (and our hosting/infrastructure providers) may collect technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and similar usage information, including through cookies and similar technologies.

2. How we use your information

To produce, fulfill, and ship your custom order;
To process your payment through Stripe;
To communicate with you about your order, including confirmations and status updates;
To provide customer support and respond to your inquiries;
To determine eligibility for promotional offers (for example, the founding-customer bonus), based on the time your order is placed;
To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the site;
To comply with law and enforce our terms.

3. The address and location you provide

To create your model we use the address or location you give us, converted to map coordinates. Geocoding and the underlying map data are provided by OpenStreetMap and its services (we do not use Google). We use the location you provide solely to fulfill your order. Please provide a location you are comfortable sharing for this purpose.

4. Images and content you upload

If you upload photos or a logo (for example, for a realtor closing gift), those files are stored securely with our storage provider (Supabase) and are used only to fulfill your order. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload (see our Terms of Use).

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as needed:

Stripe — payment processing;
Supabase — order database and image storage;
Vercel — website hosting and delivery;
Resend (or a similar provider) — transactional email;
OpenStreetMap / Nominatim — geocoding and map data;
Shipping carriers — to deliver your order.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition).

6. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the site to function and to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.

7. Data retention

We retain order and configuration information for as long as needed to fulfill your order, provide support, honor promotional commitments, and meet our legal, accounting, and record-keeping obligations. We may retain limited records longer where required by law.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, and we rely on reputable processors (such as Stripe) for sensitive operations. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, to receive a copy of it, and to object to certain processing. Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA) and the EEA/UK (GDPR) may have additional rights. We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. 10. Children’s privacy

The site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. International users

Harbegold LLC is based in Arizona, United States, and currently serves the New York City and New Jersey area. If you access the site from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries, which may have different data protection laws than your own.

12. Third-party links

The site may link to third-party sites or services (for example, Stripe). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above, and material changes will be reflected on this page. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
